If the item you want isn't on the shelf at your nearest library, you can request it to be sent there. This is a free service. Waiting time varies according to item availability, but once your item arrives we will hold it for 7 days for you. Your item is ready to pick up when you receive a notification or when its status is "Ready" in your account online.  You may have a total of 50 holds at one time.
