Question:

Why can guest/visitor passes not be used in Print Portal?

We have patrons who are guests who would like to print but they cannot add money to their accounts using the Payment Kiosk or the Print Portal. 

Answer:

Guest/Visitor passes do not stay in the system after the end of day making is impossible to save any historical data including extra funds.  Patrons will still be able to add funds to a guest/visitor passes via staff at the circulation desk. Using Staff as the service point will help to ensure that patrons are not adding more funds than necessary to the guest/visitor pass.
