As of right now the default search for Item Search and Display is Title.
This can be changed in properties of the Item Search and Display wizard.
To make the change:
Right click on the wizard
In the Defaults tab, Search Preferences option has a drop down option for Index. Select Item ID for the barcode to be the default search index.
When you go to close WorkFlows there will be a popup that asks if you want to change the changed properties file, be sure to say yes so the change will stay in place for future sessions.
