How will a patron receive notifications?
Answer:
The Notify_Via field in the Extended Info tab controls how the patron will receive notices.
Text must be entered in all caps, EMAIL, PHONE, or PAPER in order for the patron to receive the correct type of notice.
Email notices are sent to patrons that have an email address in the Primary Address section and EMAIL in the Extended Tab Notify_Via area.
Phone notices are sent to patrons that have a phone number in the Primary Address section and when the patron has PHONE in the Extended Info Tab Notify_Via area.
iTiva is the vendor now providing phone notification.
