Question:

What do I do when the there is an error with the credit card machine?

Answer:

The first thing you are going to want to do is check cords that are attached to the machine and make sure they are all snuggly plugged. 

If your credit card machine is displaying an error code please call NCR at the number listed on the machine.

If the issue cannot be resolved after troubleshooting with NCR, do not authorize a replacement credit card terminal.  Please contact the Fiscal Office to start the process by sending an email with the issue and the NCR ticket number. 

To have the phone line tested, you will need to submit an IT ticket.
