Applications are available at any San Antonio Public Library or here. That link also takes you to available volunteer positions.
It can take up to 2 weeks to get started maybe longer if there are no openings immediately. All volunteers must submit to a background check that is sent to the City of San Antonio Human Resources Department.
Occasionally the library will have posted one time volunteer opportunities for special events that do not require a background check.
