Board books can of course be suggested the same as any other type of item the library carries. But, before suggesting a Board book, you will want to call the library, at 210-207-2500, to see if we already own it. Ordinarily, if you suggest an item that the library already owns, you will be directed to a catalog link, where you can place a hold. However, Board books are the exception. Board books are not listed in the catalog, since they are a collection for browsing by pre-school children, and cannot be kept in an organized order on the library shelves. So, before suggesting a Board book, please check with us, and we can let you know if we already own it.
