The Library has a program called "Express Collections.”

An "Express Collection" is a collection of the hottest titles, those with long wait lists, and those with local interest. The hope is that each library will have a little bit of the 'best' of the library available all the time; therefore, items in an express collection aren't used to fill holds and they cannot be renewed. Express collections ensure that some of the most popular titles can be shared by as many patrons as possible.

See an item you're waiting for on the shelf at an "Express" collection near you? If you're ready for the item then call up the library where it is located to have them temporarily hold it and then head there to pick it up the same day. We hope this will encourage readers to visit different libraries around town and to find more hot in-demand titles at their own library.
