In Navigator, hover over "Texas Group Catalog" in the top-left of the page, and click on My Requests. After signing in, you'll see all of your active requests and their statuses.

"New" - this is a new request.

"Pending" - Currently, the Navigator software is sending requests to libraries on your behalf.

"Shipped" - the item is on its way (in the mail or via courier) to San Antonio! When we receive it, we have some processing to do on it as well. Shipping time can take up to 4 weeks if the library is out of state.

"Received" - the item has been received by the San Antonio Public Library. Some processing will be required, then it will be sent to your branch for pick up. When it's ready for pick up at your branch, you'll get notified just like you get notified for all other holds. You'll have seven days to pick it up after it's ready. Items stay in this status while you have it checked out, and until you have returned it at your branch.

"Returned" - Interlibrary Loan has returned your item to the lending library. The item will stay in this status until that library updates the record.

Remember – once the item is checked in and no longer on your San Antonio Public Library card, you are no longer responsible for the item.

Not seeing your request? When cancelled, a request drops off your request list and an email is sent to the email address you gave explaining the reason for the cancellation. If you did not enter an email, you will not be notified of a cancellation.

Note: InterLibrary Loans are items you're requesting from other library systems, because they are not owned by San Antonio Public Library. If you'd like to check on the status of a San Antonio Public Library hold request, see "How do I check the status of my hold request?"
