Q. How do I transfer an item to my Kindle via USB?

Here's how to get it:

• Head over to our OverDrive site, sign in at My Account,
• Then under My Bookshelf, click the "Get for Kindle" link, this will take you to Amazon's website.
• Click on the yellow "Get library book" button on the far right side of the screen
• Sign into Amazon 
• Click "Get library book"
• Select your Kindle device under Deliver To (only transferable to a Kindle, not a Kindle reading app)
• Click Continue
• Save File
• The file will be saved to your Kindle default location on your computer
• Open the folder with the newly saved file
• Open the folder on the Kindle 
• Drag and drop the file into Kindle folder
• The item should now be on the Kindle
