**Please be aware that the parking policies at the Central Library have changed as of Wednesday, April 17, 2019.

The Central Library has available parking in an attached City parking garage with an entrance on Soledad Street.

IMPORTANT: Please note that the parking garage is managed by the City of San Antonio's Parking Division, any questions or comments should be directed to 210-207-8266. For disabled parking please see: http://www.sanantonio.gov/ccdo/parking/disabledparking.aspx

NOTE: If you are visiting the Central Library, please bring your ticket with you. Tickets are validated at the Central Library 1st floor Information Desk near the public computer area. This is a self-service process and only takes a few seconds. Staff will be happy to help if you have any questions.

 

PARKING TYPE CHARGE
VALIDATIONS are only available for Central Library patrons. No charge for the first 2 hours and 59 minutes with a validated ticket; afterward, the FLAT RATE applies.
Flat Rate          $ 5.00
Lost Ticket $ 12.00
Event Parking $ 5.00
Cash or Credit Card Only

 

Two Ticket Options Upon Entry into the Central Library Garage

  • Punch button for a ticket, obtain ticket, gate will rise
  • Enter credit card into the card slot, gate will rise (no ticket will be provided)

o   Credit card will only be charged when the card is inserted in the card reader upon exit. 

o   If the credit card is not presented upon exit, the card will not be charged.

All other branches have free parking.
