If you lose or damage an item, your account will be charged both a replacement fee and a processing fee. In most cases, the replacement fee will be for the list price of the item. In addition, there is a processing fee of $5.00.

In limited circumstances, a replacement item can be accepted instead of the replacement fee. Please contact library staff before purchasing a replacement item to see if that is possible. When items are replaced, the $5.00 processing fee must still be charged, as the lost item had already been prepared for library use.
