If we decide to purchase the item you requested, we do try and get that specific item, but it is not always possible. In which case, we try to select the option that most closely matches your request.

Examples

  • The specific edition of a book you requested is not available but another edition is available, so we purchase that edition.
  • A specific artist’s music CD that you requested is not available, but that artist’s greatest hits CD, featuring many of the same songs that are on the CD you requested, is available, so we purchase that CD.
  • The specific book you requested is not available, but another book is available that provides very similar information to the one you requested, so we purchase that book. An example for such a case would be a study guide for a standardized test (such as for RN certification, CDL certification, passing the ASVAB, etc.).
