If you have forgotten your password there are two ways in which you can reset your own password.

1. The email address on your library card account is how you'll be able to reset your password.

  • On the My Account log-in page, there will be a link for "forgot your password?"
  • When you click on that link, you will be sent an email (with a link in the email message) that will allow you to reset your password.  This email is the one you have on record with your library card account.
  • The email will state "The library received a request to allow you to reset your Personal Identification Number (PIN) used to log in. If you did not place that request, please ignore this message. Your PIN has not changed. Otherwise, please click the link below to choose a new PIN.  Click on the link - this link is valid for 3 hours from the time of your request."
  • Clicking the link in the email will direct you to the create a new password page.  Please follow the directions on the screen and use something easy for you to remember but hard for someone else to guess.

2.  If you need assistance with this process, please see staff for assistance.  For privacy reasons, we may ask questions over the phone or in person to confirm you are the cardholder.  For accounts belonging to minors, they must be present during an in-person or telephone transaction.

If the transaction is taking place in person face-to-face, after validating a patron’s identity, staff can:

1. Walk you through creating your own password via “My Account”.

2. Walk you through using the “Forgot my password” button to reset via email.

3. Add or change an email address through Millennium to facilitate you using the “Forgot my password” feature, so that you can type your new password.

4. If you do not have an email on record, staff can clear an old password via Millennium and then walk you through creating a new password via “My Account”.

If the transaction is taking place over the phone, after verifying card number and name, staff can:

1.       Walk you through creating their own password via “My Account”.

2.       Walk you through using the “Forgot my password” button to reset via email.

3.       If you have forgotten your password or your email is not current with the library, please come to your nearest branch with your library card so that we can update your records and assist you.
